Metro is promoting Fine Food through a campaign door-to-door with Coca Cola

Launched at the beginning of March on Metro Expo 2012, the promotion campaign of their own brand Fine Food was continued by Metro with an original action on sampling "door-to-door" together with Coca Cola the worldwide leader of refreshing drinks. More than 100,000 consumers, in four large cities in the country (Bucharest, Brasov, Constanta and Galati) received home visits of the Coca Cola promoting teams. On the brink of the Easter Holidays, they received packages with samples of products and promotional materials from Metro and Coca Cola companies. Each packet contained a bag of Fine Food spaghetti and a 1l bottle of Coca Cola.

Adrian Ariciu - Manager of Own Brand department in Metro Cash& Carry Romania - was declaring: "we started this campaign because we just trust the potential of this brand. The range of the Fine Food products is recording considerable performance increase from one year to the next, which is the reason we are willing to continue in sustaining this evolution through in-store campaigns and activities, without being limited to them".
