Auchan opens in Bucharest

Auchan Shopping Center Drumul Taberei will be functional starting Thursday, December 11. The main anchor, Auchan hypermarket, will cover an area of 15,500 m². Along with this, other 9.500m² retail space inside the shopping gallery with 60 stores, 50 kiosks pop-up boutique, fast food area 9 restaurants as well as a playground for children. Shopping Center provides 1600 parking places.

Opening of the new hypermarket Auchan will form a real cluster in the area, given this close to a hypermarket Kaufland and also a Billa supermarket. But pressure is enormous and, as in any similar situation there will be losers and winners.
